Okay day

Today my brother came in which was great but he only could stay till 930. I finished OD and wanted to start xrays but the room was full so I started on the LR quad and finished that instead. I was able to pass off a PE on Alisha and do a sealant on her. Thanks Alisha!

Today was my first appointment having a patient that I didnt know and it went great. He was super nice! I was able to do xrays, finish scaling and pass of a pe....

1B

Today went really well. My patient was 15 minutes late and I was still able to finish him in one appointment which was great. He had xrays a few weeks ago so we skipped that step and went straight into the OD and scaling. I didnt miss any areas on scale check which was a first! (My patient really didnt have any calculus but still it was a great feeling to not have to rescale) All in all today was a great day

1B

Today I saw one of my good friends who was an 1B. He didnt need xrays so we just got started and luckily I finished him today. He really didnt have much calculus so that was nice. I did miss the straight linguals on the lower anteriors but instructor Vining showed me some good tricks with the McCall so im excited to use them. I passed off one PE and declared and Exam so hopefully I did good!

Okay so today went okay.... I finished up my mom who was a class 2 but I was super super slow I scaled the entire time and still missed spots... I am starting to get the hang of everything. I still have a hard time determining if it is calculus or just the margin of the composite/alloy. Its great to finally get excited for clinic and not stress out so much about it!

Another Day in Clinic

Today my mom came in today which was super nice of her becuase she is a teacher and it is a pain for her to get her lessons planned for the sub. I am so grateful for family! I got through the OD today and prof costley classed her as a 2. YAY! and UGG cuz I feel like I am getting class 2 s like crazy... Okay so maybe I have only see 2 1/2 pts with class 2 but still ha ha. I also did a full mouth today on her with the phosper plates. I will say I do like them a ton better than the conventional but it was hard flipping them around and figuring out which one goes where when you mount them but it worked out pretty well besides the fact that my mom is a gagger and it took quite some time to help your to stop gagging. Oh good times in the clinic haha. Everything is going so much better. I am not as stressed about clinic as I used to be. Yes, I am still stressed but no where to the point where I was 2 weeks ago when I couldnt sleep the night before. What a good feeling to get some sleep haha okay im just rambling now....
