1st day of clinic

Last night my morning patient cancelled so I called every patient that Tory emailed me and no one could come! UGHHH So I called everyone I could think of and finally I scheduled two 1As a brother and a sister. Well 815 rolls around and the mom is outside with the boy and she didnt bring her daughter and when I finally seated the boy the mom said they needed to leave by 9! My patient was only three, he did pretty well but after 15 minutes he was done. So after 9 this morning there wasnt really anything for me to do!! I hope my afternoon patient comes!

Kinda tough

Today was kinda hard. I finished my class two patient. She speaks spanish and a little english. I had to pick her up from Morgan becuase she did not have a ride down here which was okay since she is a super sweet lady. The lower left quad was a peice of cake but the UL was another story. I could feel all of the calculus but I could not get it off! After some help from Angie with the ultrasonic it finally came off but it was so frustrating that I could feel it but no matter what I did it wouldnt come off! It was a good learning experience though. I am so excited for school to be over YAY!

Not too exciting

My patient that I did some sealants on called me a few weeks ago and said her sealants came out so I figured I would just work on her today. When she came in only one sealant came out so it didnt take me very long to re do it. I sharpened my instruments since I have all semester :s and then kim was nice enough to let me take a set of bitewings on her patient!

So today I originally had two 1a s scheduled that I got off the recall list, when I called their mom to confirm she cancelled for the 3rd time! I was not happy! So I told her sorry I dont have room this semester......... So i called my sister in law and luckily she let me bring in my neice and nephew so it ended up working out and was super fun to work on them. My sweet husband cancelled all his plans for today so he could watch them while they were here and to also take them home-- Overall today was great

Good Day!

Today I scaled UR for my patient which was a class 2/ Class 3. It was good to finally get her done. She was the sweetest lady! Mrs. Neely was nice enough to let me take a pano on her since I needed 1 more pano for my requirements. I was so so glad because I didnt know who I could take one on so that worked out great! SO SO excited for the end of the semester! YAAY!

Interesting Day!

Okay today my brother came in and could only stay for an hour and I still needed to do BWX and scale 3 quads so I was hauling to get him finished but luckily I did! I was so so glad he came in because my 1A pts that I had scheduled for today cancelled! GRRRRRRR But oh well it worked out. Also Savanna had a pt coming in at 2 to get the "dirt" he claimed was on his teeth after his cleaning. Ya it was pretty much staining interproximally that was actually stained filling. So ya couldnt really get that off! haha I passed off the air powder polisher today which is my last PE!!!!! ( besides the clinic assistant pe that I still need) Today was a great day!

today was a good day finally! One of the reasons is because I didnt have to take bitewings on my patient!--- And I finally felt the calculus come off! My patient had a ton of calculus on her lower anterior linguals it was so fun to watch chunks come off from the ultrasonic! So glad today went as well as it did
